So while I haven't been posting, a lot has happened. I've take up sculpting, I'm moving back to Melbourne, I've sold dolls, bought dolls, and made dolls!

I've actually had my 'name' for a whole, thinking if I ever did end up sculpting a doll that I would think up something more clever, but I think Gloss Dolls, or Glossd? I'm leaning toward Glossd, because it's a 'word' while still being a bit more than 'suchnsuch dolls' as that was always my concern.

These dolls will be characters in the extensive Glossd universe, which I have created both for my use, and for the use of anyone who needs help with stories and characters. I know several people who can't come up with these things easily, but really want those aspect applied to their dolls. So hopefully someone can have a bit of fun out of it.

The sizes will each represent a species/race (they're all more or less human-looking, save for a few features and size. The Wanderling are where I'm starting at 35cm, and the first is Acoe.

Here's an update on here. I've just bought some resin, and my dad bought me some silicon from his work. Becaue he uses a lot of it, I can use the scraps to fill the large empty spaces wheree would otherwise be filled with new silicon that just fills... space. it's very handy and i hope that tip helps someone. Silicon is so expensive. Though he was telling me about the stuff they use to make porcelain vaneers, and apparently it's getting close to space shuttle material kind of strength, a bottle of that is super expensive.

She's partially string here, I was testing her seating, and her torso/head joints. Good so far, but it's hard to judge right now as the clay has far more friction than resin does.

So I'm done with Anouk's mods. This head is definitely Anouk, not her sister, I know for sure now. I actually got twin#2's wig yesterday which I thought was super lucky, and then today I got Anouk's wig! I ordered that from the states on Monday. Three days.

Anyway, so you're not going to see her with her own wig until her faceup is done, but I will share her finished mods, with her sister's wig and temp brown eyes (she has yellowish amber eyes, or green... I bought two different pairs and I'm not sure who will have which colour.).

That dress is for my lovely friend Jak; it came in the mail today and I'm to send it off to her in Canada, along with all sorts of goodies, and sexy underwear, but not really.

I'm going to do her faceup now, wish me luck! :P

Hello my internet buddies! This is my BJD blog that will be filled my rambles that have doll themed bits and flecks and are generally doll rambles >.> I don't have somewhere I can just cover in doll goo, so this will be it. Tumblr doesn't leave room for blogging, I feel, as good as it is for looking at endless pictures XD

Anyway, so I'm here at 5:30 in the morning, can't sleep, and I'm working on opening the eyes of my MNF Luka sleeping head, who is either going to be Anouk, or her twin sister, who doesn't have a name yet. Originally it was just to be Anouk, but then I found a cheap open eyed head and I just pounced on that shit like a cat on a laser dot. I searched for a Luka head like a crazy bitch ever since getting Mikey, and suddenly when I cave and buy a sleeping head, not only does a gorgeous Angel Toast modded/faceupped head show up, but a whole blank open eyed girl, just my luck lol. Anyway, I only have Anouk's body on the way so far, so Nameless will have to share with Merida as Mikey's body is not only WS, but she's also slightly tanned WS, and freckled to the roof.

I don't have a dremel so I've been doing what I can in bits and pieces since 12 in the afternoon yesterday. Ugh, I wish I had my full strength or I would have had it done in a few hours, but I can barely manage 5 minutes of bevelling and carving. Though it is therapeutic. I have a while to go yet, but at least it's at that stage where I can see the liiight. Her eyes won't be that shape though, reminds me too much of a woosoo X3

So that's that! I hope to do a lot of editing today and catch up, I've done at least three or four shoots I haven't touched more than one shot, if that. OTL Mikey looks AMAZING in her new wig, and I did a tiny shoot with she and D, so that will hopefully get up today. OMG it's going to be great to share who shoots on here! Eeeee. Love you guys! <33
